From the History of Bristol (NH): Brackett L. Greenough was born 4-22-1777. He m. 1799, Ruth Stevens, born 1779, and d. 9-16-1804, age 25. He m. (2) 10-14-1808, Abigail Cummings, b. 12-17-1779, and d. 2-6-1846, age 66-1-19. He was a resident of Bristol 1829-1846, and the owner of mills and privileges on Newfound River in Bristol village, and the residence corner of Central Square and Spring Street, which he occupied. He held a prominent place in the affairs of the town, during his stay there. Children: 1. Brackett L. b. 1-15-1800; m. Amanda Frary, 12-23=1821. 2. Betsey, b. 9-18-1802; m. 6-1-1817, Silas Barrows. 3. Mariah Jane, b. 9-9-1810; d. 9-28-1831, age 21-2-19. 4. Louisa Ruth, b. 10-20-1812; m. 1-23-1833, William S. Ela. 5. Abigail, b. 11-30-1813; d. 12-18-1813. 6. Solomon C., b. 9-1-1815; d. 9-22-1815. 7. Marianne A., b. 4-18-1818; m. John Corser. 8. Norman Cummings, b. 2-24-1820; m. 11-23-1846 Frances D. DeFord, b. 10-7-1816. He d. 8-11-1866, age 46-5-17. She d. 2-1884, age 67-4. I hope this helps someone else.
