Ernest Greenough drowned

I'm looking for information on Ernest Greenough, born Abt 1876 in Wigan, Lancashire, England emmigrated to the US in 1910 and I have him in the 1920 census living in Lawrence City, Massachusetts working as a Bricklayer but family legend says that he fell from a yacht into the Hudson River and drowned and was identified by his five gold teeth.

Any Information on him or his death in particular welcome.
