Could it be possible that looking in Canning, NS might be useful: Immigrant 1)Rob't Greenough of Rowley b.abt 1653, had 2)Daniel Greenough Abt 1685/6 in Rowley by mother Martha Epes, b abt 1654 of Ipswich; 2) This Daniel had at least two sons with mother Elizabeth Halth/Hatch: One 3)Daniel b. 24 Aug 1731 and 3)James b. abt. 1736 If this is correct 3)James had 4)Moses b. 28 Aug 1770 w/mother Mary Jacques and 4) Moses had 5)Daniel Greenough abt 1791 in Bradford with mother Eunice Kimball 5) Daniel went to Canning before 1812 and had 6) James Edward in Canning 30 Jul 1835 then 6) Wm. Albert b abt. 1843 in Horton/now Kentville. We have found Greenough records at Acadia University. Many New England Planters settled there to take advantage of free Acadian land. I'm still verifying my records, but perhaps you have more than I and Canning might lead you to some records. Notify Administrator about this message?
