I'm looking for the parents of my ggreat-grandmother Laura Greeno/Greno. She married Charles Himes/Hines. She may have been born in Pennsylvannia (per 1850 Stark Co. IL census)and Charles was born in Rutland, VT. From the information I have, Charles and Laura & Charles had the following children:
Franklin
Moses A.
Luman P.
Austin Charles
Anna Lydia/Laura b. Troy, Bradford, PA
Clarissa L.
Emma L.
Jennie/Jane
Homer H.
Many of Laura's children have names seen in the family of Daniel Greeno & Lydia Rice. I wonder if Laura may have been a child of one of Daniel & Lydia's older sons...from the information I have, her birth year is 1709.
It appears that Moses Greno was still in Rutland, VT, married with one daughter in the 1800 census. This daughter could not have been Laura...she was born about 9 years later...but would anticipate Moses would have had more children, but grasping at straws on that link.
Would greatly appreciate any information on the Greeno/Greno/Grenough's...especially where Laura fits in.
