Grignon--Fr. version of Greeno/ough

I am looking for Daniel Grignon [pronounced Gren' yo] which later became Greenough and finally Greeno. Daniel married Wealthy Kellogg about 1825 or so in Vergennes [Addison] VT. Daniel is said to have come from Quebec, Canada. We can find no history on him prior to his marriage to Wealthy. Does anyone have any Greenough's-whatever the spelling-in VT area about that time???
