I have an Ernest/ Frank/Francis Greenslade b.26.12.1903 in Bristol, in my family tree, he is my Granddad.
He married Florence Hadley b.15.10.1910 in Custom House, London E16.
They were married in 1931.
They had a several children, some of who died at birth.
Very little is known about him, except his father/ or possible he’s father, came from Mauritius, he’s name may have been Marana or something similar sounding.
He had a brother, possible Frank or Francis or Ernest, and a sister, the sister’s name is unknown and it is thought she died very young.
He left Bristol when he was very young to work on the ships as a cabin boy.
Does any of this ring a bell with you, or other members of your family, I would be grateful for any information, what so ever?
