Is anyone working on the family of Thomas Grenewey (d. 1538) of Dinton, Buckinghamshire, and his wife Elizabeth (d. 1538/9)?
In 1540 their son, Richard Grenewey (d. 1551), received many of the lands belonging to Missenden Abbey due to the Dissolution of the monastaries. By his wife Joan Tylney, his son and heir was Anthony Greenway.
A likely sister of Richard Grenewey was Winifred Greenwaye who married Richard Ingoldsby, Esq, of Lenborough Manor in Buckingham Borough. The sons of Winifred and Richard Ingoldsby were:
1. Francis Ingoldsby, Armiger
buried 3 Nov 1579 Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
2. George Ingoldsby, Gent.
buried 3 Jan 1591/2 Fishtoft, Lincolnshire
3. John Ingoldsby
buried 22 June 1583 Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
