Sullivan Co., TN DB 6, p. 439 shows Joseph & George married daughters of John Webb in a power of attorney to Tipton to dispose of John Webb land grants. Ihaven't yet found anything more yet except another power of attorney which doesn't add anything more. And I don't know yet who John Webb was married to married. In 1825 Joseph Greenway is living on the land granted to John Webb in 1782. I'm not yet certain of who John Webb's father is but I've got a few ideas.
I did find a deed from Edward Cox to Emanuel Sampson Heirs but it names no heirs. Can you fill me in on the deed you're referring to which names the other heirs. I'm trying to figure out the Webb connections and and I like to compare notes. Feel free to contact me directly.
