What does the Greenway name mean?

Last Name: Greenway

1.English: topographic name for someone who lived by a grassy path, from Middle English grene ‘green’ + weye ‘path’.

2.Welsh: Anglicised form of the Welsh personal name Goronwy, of unexplained origin.

3.Translation of Dutch Groeneweg or German Grüneweg, Gröneweg, topographic names with the same meaning as 1.
