John, I have all of your male names in my line also, but none of the spouses match. Most of my line comes from Wasenberg in Hessen-Kassel Germany. As a mater of fact, I have met some Greins from Kassel (city).
My line goes as follows:
John (Johannes Wilhelm) (1869-1950) born in Wohra, Germany to Johan Heinrich b. 1829, Wasenberg d. 1901, Wohra and Elisabeth LAPP.
Johan Heinrch (1829-1901), son of Johan Georges (1798-1889) and Anna Katharina GLINTZER.
Johan Georges is the son of Johannes (1765-1824)and Martha Elisabeth GLINTZER.
Johannes is the son of Johan Helwig (1738-1802) and Anna Elisabeth KELLER.
Johan Helwig is the son of Magnus (1711-1774) and Martha Elisbeth SCHLEMMER.
Magnus is the son of Christoph (d. 1738, where is unknownand were he was born is unkown, possibly Fischbach), and Anna Barbara ?.
Christoph is the son of Herman and Elisabeth HETZEL
Herman is the son of Seibert and Hedwig WEIGEIMESS.
The latter information I received from a Grein relative in Germany and she didn't list the place. However, the Grein name was commonly known to originate in Fischbach.
I do, however, have copies from the church records in Wasenberg on the line that lived there back to the birth of Magnus, 19 July 1711.I think I also have a picture of an old Grein house in Fischbach.
