My Father's mother, Lucille Terry born of Maddie Blair and John Henry Terry in Oklahoma Territory - Tallequah maybe Muskogee...not certain....Maddie and John had 7 other children: John Henry Terry; J.C. Terry, Jewel Terry; Willis Faye Terry, Bonnie Mae Terry, Opal Terry and Sybol Terry. My father's great uncle - Dick Terry - during depression - bought lots of land in England, Arkansas, and moved from Oklahoma Territory to Arkansas and farmed there. My father can remember stories that Maddie Blair would tell about cattle drives while living in Oklahoma territory...and about a time when some men on horses came to their home...needing some food, shelter, and the men paid them more than enough money...that those men were Jesse James' Gang... If anyone has any information pertaining to these people it would be greatly appreciated!
