I am trying to trace the parents of my GGF, Henry John Grieveson, born 1827, probably in Darlington. He was a colliery manager. There was some connection with Barnard Castle. He married Isabella Hutchinson on 4/8/1857, and they had 14 children, listed below, most born in Darlington:
John Hutchinson G. b.1858, Mary Jane b.1859, George Atkinson,b 1861, Emma b. 1862, Henry Temple b. 1864, Florence b. 1865, Isabella b. 1867, James Edward b. 1868(my GF), Lucy b. 1869, Adah b.1870, Constance b. 1872, Florence Charlotte b. 1875, Violet Evelyn b. 1876, Wilfred Aubrey b, 1877.

My father's name was Edward Temple Grieveson, b. 1907 in South Africa.
Any further relationships or ancestors would be of great interest.
