Hi Mel - Since I've just identified the Grievesons, I thought I would wait until I have some more information. So far, I've learned from the 1861 census that James Grieveson was born in Lumley, Durham County around 1824. I'm waiting for the certificate from the GRO with more info about who his father was. We located his family in Newfield, Durham. Should have more info in the next week or so. Previously I misidentified James Grieveson who married Eliza Mason, and it was some time before I learned of my error. It would be great if we could make a connection. Regards, Milt Kelly
