My Griffing family comes from L.I. N.Y. My greatgrand mother, Abbie May Griffing Richards was born in the Springs (East Hampton) Long Island, N.Y. on 10 Jun 1876 d. in Greenport L.I. 1938. Her parents were Calvin Moore Griffing b.28 Jan 1830 on Shelter Island & Hannahette Edwards b. 1841. His parents were Calvin Moore Griffing b. 17 Jul 1800 on Shelter Island, Abigail Congdon. His parents were Moses Griffing & Sybil King Married in Southold, Long Island N.Y. 24 Jan 1788.
I can list all of Abbie's children and some of her grandchildren Etc. I would appreciate any information you might have back beyond Moses Griffing. Thanks, Donna
