For those of you who are related to John Benjamin Griffing and Penelope Coleman Griffing, I have evidence that he DID NOT die in 1803, but actually lived until 15 Mar 1825, remarried after Penelope died, to a woman named Sarah _______. He is buried in the Prichard Cemetery (sometimes called Griffing-Prichard Ce,.) in Hamburg, Franklin Co., MS beside his second wife. He fathered 4 more children in his second marriage.
