Could this be the same Robert Griffin who was a surveyor in early 1800 Ms Territory?
Do you know if this is the same Robert Griffin that had a passport issued March 1802
Ordered through the Cherokee nation to the western territory be prepared for
Thomas Waggoner, Robert Barrehill and Robert Griffin with their families.
