I am looking for the location of St. Albans, Mississippi. According to the "Complete History of Methodism", James Griffing lived near St. Albans, which was located on the Big Black River. Also, Sarah Griffing, fiance of Tobias Gibson, became sick and died while visiting relatives in St. Albans. I've done a "Google search", looked at maps of Mississippi from the late 1700's to early 1800's, and found a book on deserted/ghost town in Mississippi, and none have a reference to St. Albans. Any help would be appreciated! MIC
