Edward Griffin 1762-1802, Madison, CT area

Does anyone have any further information about the following individuals and their families: Captain Edward Griffin, 1762-1802, buried West Cemetery, Madison, CT, m. Submit DeWolf, 1762, Killingworth, CT; Edward's son Harry or Henry Griffin, m. to an Edgerton, buried Summer Hill Cemetery, Madison, CT; or Edward's father James Griffin, b April 7 1733, m Polly Needham 1757 in Killingworth, CT. I am wondering if the Harry or Henry who is the son of Edward is the same Harry who lived in Guilford, CT who was married to an Ursula Dickenson in 1821. This Henry or Harry appears to be the father of John L. Griffin b. 1815, who was my great-great grandfather. John L. Griffin was also known as John L. Griffing on many records, and was married to a Hannah Griffin whose family also used the name Griffing. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
