Have your dad give you some more details about your Griffing grandparents. I have a good amount of information on the Griffing's who came from Wales in the 1600's and eventually moved to Miss. in 1781. I have handwritten notes about the family from Oakland College (present day on the campus of Alcorn State) from the 1840's. I have a letter from Emily Griffing also, but hers was from the 1800's.
