Looking for information on wife of Hiram Griffing son of Stephen Griffing Long Island. Hiram married Elizabeth Howe in 1830 in NYC they moved to Alabama about 1835 had 7 children Elizabeth's mother was Abigail Howe. Abigail was born 1785 june 17 in Stanford Ct do not have her maiden name she died 18 April 1848 Mobile Al. Elizabeth Howe born Hartford Ct. from family lore however census of 1850 says she was born in NY. she died 29 Nov. 1858 Pottersville Al. any assistance would be appreciated. Stone's book says went south.
