Still trying to find parents of Harvey Griffith, born around 1812 in TN......married to Anna Poyner. Anna died in 1858 in Arkansas.....Harvey disappears after 1860...I don't find him on any rosters.....the children went to friends and family.
One son, Samuel Patrick Griffith, ended up in Texas. The spelling of his last name somehow became Griffey. He married Fannie Guynes. This is the line I have been researching (for a cousin who is his great grandaughter)
If anyone has any recent updates, I'd appreicate hearing from you. Thanks for any help!
