Just an FYI to all Griff(ith)(s) and all related spelling surnames. Our "Y" chromosome DNA project at http://www.griffith.dna.rdgriffith.com/ for all our Griff related surnames is now up to 100 members. Many connections have been made, but we need many more "Griff" males to step up to the plate to make more connections back to the Welsh and British, etc. homelands and to find out how we connect to more ancient lineages. It helped me understand that my earlier surname was Griffiths not the present Griffith spelling that my line has used for the last 200 years. - Allan Griffith, Bloomington, IL - magrif@verizon.net
