Hi Carol, I am descended from Margaret Beveridge, a cousin of Elizabeth Beveridge. Margaret moved to England in around 1854 and died near Newcastle on Tyne in 1907. Elizabeths parents were George Beveridge (1784-1862) and Margaret Young (d before 1841). Elizabeth's brother David, followed by his sons ran the Arborfield Linen works in Kettle. I can give you more details of her ancestry if you are interested
