Hi Andrew:
Yes, Lydia Groat is the daughter of Jacob Marsh and Lydia Fuller.
Eunice Marsh is a sister to William Marsh b. 04 or 11 July in Vermont.William Marsh married Elizabeth Huntington, b. abt. 1767 in Clarenceville, Missisquoi, Quebec. One of their daughters was Jane Marsh, b. 11 Nov. 1786 in either Clarenceville or Sutton, Quebec.
Jane Marsh married David Demaray, b. 05 Nov.1782 in Shagticoke, New York. One of their daughters was Mary Demaray (sometimes identified as Mary Demary), b. 11 Nov. 1812 in Sutton, Quebec.
Mary Demaray married Henry Groat, b. 11 April 1810 in Whitby, Ontario.Henry Groat and Mary Demaray are my great-great-great grandparents.
Henry Groat is the son of William Groat and Lydia Huntington (the brickwall of many researchers of my Groat family).
I have substantial information on the Demaray family back to the 11th Century as French Huguenots. The Demaray information was provided by a fourth cousin on the Demaray side of my family.
Henry Groat and Mary Demaray established a farm in Belmont, North Dorchester, Ontario and left his son, Edward Groat and wife, Lucy York, on the farm while he and Mary immigrated to Michigan. Both Henry and Mary died and were buried in Michigan.
(The Demaray information is in answer to another response you made to my 'Henry Groat' and 'Mary Demaray' message.I had responded to your message last night, but I am having trouble accessing this forum.Either my computer is a problem or it is the server.)
Anyway, the message explains where my Groat family is connected to Eunice Marsh and Robert Brisbin.
It would be interesting to learn if there are other connections to the Benjamin/Caleb Groat families.
Mary
