Marcia, Sorry to be responding so late....
As far as I know the parents of Anna Elisabeth Groscost are Hans Philipp Groscost and Anna Margaretha Heim. I have used as one source for this information; BOYER, CARL, 3rd. editor. Ship passenger Lists, Phidelphia and Delaware (1641-1825). Newhall, Calif.: the editor, 1980. 289p. 4th pr. 1986.Reprint. Family Line Publications, Westminister, MD. 1992. also- BRAUN, FRITZ. Auswanderer aus der Umgebung von Ludwigshafen a. Rh. auf dem Schiff "Thistle of Glasgow" 1730. (Schriften zur Wanderungsgeschichte der Pfaelzer, folge 8.) Nuestadt an der Aisch, Germany: Buchdruckerei Ph. C.W. Schmidt, 1959. pp.3-22.{ In other words Emigrants from the vicinity of Ludwigshafen am Rhine on the Ship Thistle of Glasgow in 1730.Date and port of Arrival.} I have more but as you can see they are hard to understand except for the english. I hope I've copied them correctly---don't want to offend anyone! I am not aware of death dates or buriel sites for either Anna or husband Johannes however would be interested. I have communicated with some (Horner)Hanauer researchers whom you may have already seen on the internet. If not, contact me again. Again, sorry for the delay in the response.
