Don, If and when you get to Germany next, go up the Rhine to Mutterstadt. Ask the folks in the town hall to show you the marriage data on Hans Phillip and Margaretha Heim. They have it documented in small handwritten journals found in a closet on the second floor of the building. After you leave Mutterstadt, you might continue up the Rhine to Strasburg, and then go to Breuschwickersheim,(now French territory) a little town where the recent mayor was named C, Groscost, and their church records document the Grosskost name for 400 years. It may be the town where Hans Phillip originated? Since you are from Beaver, do you know Olive Smilek from Beaver Falls. She is an avid family historian and genealogist who knows a lot about your side of the Groscost's. Sincerely, Ken Groscost
