'Mr. Gross' & Almira Treworgy Jordan 1840's Ellsworth Me.

Trying to find Mr. Gross' identity and what happened to him after 1840's Ellsworth Maine. Almira Treworgy Jordan married and had 2-children: Arthur and Sophrona, who are listed with their mother, Almira Gross, and her previous Jordan children in 1850 Census in Ellsworth, Me. Mr Gross never shows up in any record with the family. By 1860, Almira and Arthur change their surnames back to Jordan. Arthur enlists in 1862 Civil War as Jordan. Almira did show up in 1845 Probate records as Mrs Almira Gross, widow of Joseph Tyler Jordan, deceased 1837.
