My GGGrandfather was Joseph L.Greenawalt.(1813- ) I had some information one time that said he was married to a Jane Grossman. This also shows up in the LDS files. My GGrandfather was John K Greenawalt (1839- ). He was married to Susan Elizabeth Henwood (1845- ). My Mother used to say that the K in John K Greenawalt stood for Kissinger. It was customary in those days that one of the sons would be given his mother's maiden name for a middle name. Have you run across any names like these?
I would like to get back to you later.
