I too am searching for information regarding a Charles Greenawalt(born c. 1880s?), brother of Curvin Greenawalt, born in York, PA. Both would be my g-g-uncles. Their father (name: unk) died when the sons were young and the mother remarried a (Frederick?) Morganthal/Morgenthal/alt spelling. His mother and Morgenthal had children: Kula m. George Heininger, Alverta (went by "Verdi")m. Peter Bentz, Jennie m. James Frank Carter. Kula and Verdi stayed in the York, PA area, Jennie moved to NYC. This Charles would be deceased now but am searching for information about descendents. It's a long shot without more info but thought I'd check anyway.
