I believe the Nancy Gryder you're referring to is a granddaughter of John Gryder and Nancy Gibbs Gryder (my great-great-great-grandparents.) Their son John H. Gryder married Agnes Flowers and their first-born child is listed in a family geneaology as Nancy Gryder.
I don't have any more detailed information at my fingertips at the moment. But I can e-mail you the John Gryder/Nancy Gibbs list I have. Or you can access it at Rick Gryder's web page for Gryder family members. If you go to www.google.com and type "Gryder" in the search box, it should display Rick's page as one of the first 2 or 3 items on the list.
