Hello,

My name is Andres Gubbins, member of the Gubbins family from Chile (there is an extensive branch of the Gubbins family in Chile and Peru).

My great grandfather arrived from Ireland, and in fact, can confirm that the family name originally came from France - from Normandy I was told - and that the original Norman spelling of the family name was Gobions.

Thanks,

Andres Gubbins
