Hi! I am Looking for info on Patrick Charles Gubbins or his father William Gubbins. I am not sure which one came over from Ireland. It may have been William or Patrick. They ended up in Chicago and I believe they were from Limrick county, possibly from the town Oola. Also there is mention of a Bridget Gubbins and a Sara Riley Gubbins from Mayo. They were Catholic but I understand that there is a portion of our strain that is Protestant. There may be a relative my brother visited named John Gubbins in the town of Oola. My great grandfather was a police Captain in Chicago early this century. I would appreciate any information.
