Dear David,
Delighted to 'make your acquaintance' - as they say and may I say how nice to hear from someone of my own generation (I was born in 1932).
You will have seen my message to Franscico and the family tree information, if you were interested, is good for yourself. Except that the Egroup is now at
Fascinated in that you say your father was born back in Ireland as I thought all of grandfather GEORGE GOUGH GUBBINS had been born in either Peru or Chile. I had information that GG moved from Peru to Chile in 1910 but didn't know when he emigrated from Limerick to Peru in the first place???

Hoping that you will not mind, I am passing your message on to your cousin (son of JAMES GOUGH) SEAN BEAUSIRE who is my closest colleague here in London, in regard to Gubbins family genealogy.
