This gentleman must be the Reverend Lionel Alfred Nelson Gubbins, born 10 Dec 1903 and whose death was registered in Islington, London, in the third quarter of 1983.
He was Curate of Kingsthorpe Church, Northamptonshire before transferring to London. Address in 1952/3 was: Christ Church Vicarage, Waldeck Road, London N.15.
I am the member of the Guild of One Name Studies (a branch of the Family History Society)responsible for the coordination, world-wide, of genealogical matters pertaining to the GUBBINS surname (my web site is at www.avnet.co.uk/home/briangubbins).
According to my record of the good padre, I have no details of a marriage or, hence, of children. If you know to the contrary would be most grateful to receive the information.
I fear I know nothing at this moment of his parentage and ancestry in general, but would be more than happy to take custody of what you have, or a loan, as you so wished, but would very much likje to get any information on him that you have.
