The family named originated in St Gallen Switzerland and I have traced two Gubser families from there.

My family came to the US and settled in Davenport, IA. My GGGrandfather, his father and three brothers came together. One brother settled near Hamburg, IA. One settled in the Des Moines, IA area. My GGGrandfather came to Oregon via oxcart, arriving in 1853.
