DAR documents for John Guernsey/Garnsey, born CT lived NY
I did a large amount of research on John Guernsey/Garnesey and his wife Ann Peck down to a recent applicant that did not follow through on the application to the DAR.I would love to share the information I have with those that tie into this line.
A partial listing follows:
1) John Guernsey and his wife Anna Peck.John is the ancestor of my applicant.He died Half Moon in 1783 and is buried Amenia, New York.On Find-a-Grave, they have a sketch of his data but there is a headstone for his wife Anna Peck, buried at Clifton Park, Garnsey Cemetery. Military Service ) SIGNER OF ASSOCIATION TEST, AMENIA PCT, DUTCHESS CO
2) Nathan Garnsey, his son, born 1731 and died 3 Dec 1822 and is buried also at Clifton Park, along with his wife Nancy (Hunter)
3) Nathan Garnsey, son of #2, born 1772 and died 1843 and is also buried a Clifton Park, along with his wife Nancy Barnes/Barns,
4) Frank Warner Garnesey, born 1846, did 1918, married Ella Furnman
5) Alfred StephenMudgett, born 1871, married Emily Benedict Garnsey
