I have just joined this site and I just have to respond. I know that your original message is over a decade old, but, in the hope that you are still around, I can say that my Guerrero ancestors came from the same place as yours, Malanoche. I was able to trace all the Guerreros to two lines, that of Jose Socorro Guerrero and Bibiano Guerrero. Bibiano Guerrero was my ancestor and based on my father's recollection, he names persons of the line of J. Socorro Guerrero as "relatives". The problem is that I could not find how don Bibiano was related to don Socorro. If you are still around please respond. Thanks.
