"Other names are Don Damasio, Don Cruz, Don Simon, Don Camilo, Don Diego, Don Valente, Dona Inez y Dona Andrea. These are the roots of the Guerrero's in Malanoche, Zacatecas."
I recognize most of these names as of the lineage of Jose Socorro Guerrero. Jose del Socorro Guerrero was of the same generation as my ancestor Bibiano Guerrero (mid to late 1800's).
Camilo, Diego, and Valente were sons of Jose del Socorro Guerrero and Francisca Castro. Among the sons of Camilo Guerrero was a Gregorio Guerrero, who may have been the Gregorio Guerrero, who my dad says was related to his dad. According to my dad, when his father Jesus Guerrero was living in Pittsburgh, California, in the 1920s, a Gregorio Guerrero came to live with them for some time. All my dad knew (as a child) was that he was related to us, but, he did not know in what way. If you have any information on Gregorio Guerrero, this may prove to be useful. The problem is that I encountered two Gregorio Guerreros living in Malanoche in 1930, according to the 1930 Mexican Census. I'm not quite sure if this is the same one.
I encountered a Cruz Guerrero in the 1930 Mexican census who was 80 years old living in Malanoche, which meant that he was born about 1850. I've also encountered a Damasio Guerrero in the same census who was 66 years old, and thus born about 1864.
Please let me know if any of this information proves useful to you. I've already given my e-mail in response to your other message.
