Henry and Susanna Guier

I'm writing in search of family history information on Henry and Susanna (Harvey?/Harry?) Guier.

Origins in KY: I believe that Henry and Susanna married in Christian Co., KY on 5-June 1820. In 1830, both a Henry and Frederick Guier lived in Cadiz Township, Trigg Co., KY (near Christian Co., KY).

Life in MO: According to a History of Houstonia Township on the Pettis County, MO GenWeb Site, Henry Guier arrived there in 1834 (in fact, he’s the first settler listed). The 1850 Census, for Pettis Co., MO (Roll 409, p. 138, family 404) shows Henry Guier (age 56, b. KY) living with Sussana (age 40?, b. Va), and three children: Caroline H (age 18, b. KY), James J (19, b. KY), Eli H. (11, b. MO). According to Marriages of Pettis County Missouri 1833-1855 (Jefferson City, MO: Capital City Family Research) 1986, Willis R. Magee married Caroline H. Guyre[?] 30-OCT-1851 before William C. Harrison, JP. The marriage was recorded on 18 Nov 1851 on page 36 of Book “B”. In the 1850s, Henry, James and Leander (Eli) Guier patented several tracts of land in Pettis Co. MO in Township 48 N, along the boundary between Ranges 22 and 23 West.

I strongly suspect that Henry Guier of Pettis Co., was the uncle of Edmund Guier who later lived east of Cross Timbers in Hickory Co., MO.

Henry Guier was my GGG-Grandfather.

Can you put me in contact with any descendants of Henry and Susanna Guier?

Does anyone know much about Henry or Sussana’s parents or ancestors?

I have information on Caroline H. Guier’s husband and descendants, and would like to know more about Henry and Susanna’s other descendants. Want to exchange information?
