Hi,
I am also looking for Jane Gunning born c. 1868(?) (Ayrshire). According to the family Jane had a brother Alexander, born in Ireland in 1864 & a brother, Jack, who went to America (Pensylvania?)
Jane is said to have gone to Scotland (or born there - don't know for sure). Parents were James & Ann Jane Gunning formally Burns. I can find no marriage for James & Ann Jane in Scotland or Ireland, where they fled when Ann Jane was expecting Alexander.
I have been told, by family, that Jane was married to William John Weames & had 2 sons, - one being William John Weames. She also married (again by family) somebody McCullough. I am totally stuck against the bricks here, because I have been unable to find any information for Jane - she was probably married to the person you are looking for as well!!
Why is it that the Gunning family seems to not want to be found.
