James Gunning/Mary or Anna Maria Noble

James Gunning was a cloth manufacturer in Warminster, England in the late 18th C. He married Mary or Anna Maria Noble. They hit hard times after the war when the need for serge for army uniforms declined. To eke out an existence they collected nuts. Their creditors were so inspired that they allowed them to keep their money. They built a house at Tytherington and it was called Nut House. Can anyone substantiate any of this?
