H. Gunning Elizabethtown, Kentucky 1800s

I am looking for any information on a H. Gunning in the Elizabethtown, KY area during the 1800s. I think he/she was a silversmith, a cabinet maker or a clockmaker. I am doing this research for a early American grandfather clock that was made in the early to middle 1800s.

I've searched the library of the National American Watch and Clock Collectors without luck. A publication does exist that includes Kentucky clockmakers and silversmiths for the period 1780-1900 but H. Gunning is not listed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom
