Hi Lisa,

I can't see a connection, but I'll give you what I have.

Janet Aikman Galloway, b 1737, married Archibald Gunning (he was probably the Archibald Gunnings, son of John Gunnings and Jennet Kidston, chr 7 April 1727 in St Ninians) in St Ninians, Stirling.
Their three children that I know of are:

John chr 21 Feb 1762
William chr 1 April 1764
Archibald chr 9 March 1766

all chr St Ninians

'Gunnin' could be Gunnion as well as Gunning or Gunnings, I guess.

I'm descended from Janet Aikman Galloway's brother, so I haven't really pursued the Gunnings.

best wishes,
Aileen
