Hi
My line is James Gunning Sr & Mary to James Jr born Europe(from land grant info) c 1807 m. Margaret Jonah (Joney) 29 November 1829. I have never been able to connect John & James Sr. But they seem to be the only Gunnings in the area. I have John's Will and some other info on him. I show they had a daug. Elizabeth b 1816 d bef Aug 1856 m. Malcolm Steeves on 7 June 1831. I was writen in the book History of riverview that James Hazen Gunning, who Gunningsville was named for was prob. the son of John, He is in my line so, this would not be correct.
e-mail me if I can Help
Michele
