Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church for Cornelia E. 'Connie'Guptill, 93, who died Friday at Annandale Care Center.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale, and one hour before services Tuesday at the church in Annandale. A church prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel followed by an Order of the Eastern Star service at 7:45.
Cornelia Guptill was born in Hart to Andrew and Helena (Runge) Brand. She married Richard Guptill III on Sept. 21, 1935, in Decorah, Iowa. He died on March 4, 1986. The couple operated Dick Guptill's Boats and Bait for more than 50 years. She retired in 1995. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Order of Eastern Star Clover Leaf Chapter 128 (formerly Vesta Chapter).
Survivors include her eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children, Richard W., and La Vonne Magnuson; six brothers and sisters; and one great-grandson.
