I found a book "Guptill Genealogy" when in Boston at the New England Historical Society.

Elijah Henderson Guptill born June 24, 1816, St. George, Me. Married Harriet Schuman. Elijah's mother was Elizabeth Henderson. I have information on this family also. His father is Nathaniel Guptill. Harriet died April 12,1850. Elijah married a second time Emily Ellmore[Elsmore]. He married a 3rd time to a widow named Margaret, no last name found yet. He had 16 children. I do have more information on him and the family.
