Re: Clarence J. Libby who m: Genie Guptill...and the Libby family. Had emailed you Tracey, but it was returned: No doubt we are related, our sharing a direct common ancestor with *John Libby Sr. b: 11 Nov 1610 in England. We are also most likely related through your father's Sanborn ancestor as well - *John Sanborn b: 1620. Thank you for the correction on Phyllis Tarbox being m: Lawrence Perley Libby...but in re: to Carrie Stover, you said, in your rootsweb post-em note, she was the #2 wife of Clarence J. Libby and I have her as wife of Clarence Libby & Genie Guptill's SON, Leon Hanson Libby.
My rootsweb data on them was from source: Julie & Joseph a Dickinson <teddybear974@juno.com>, granddaughter of Leon Libby and I see they were incorrect only as far as Phyllis Tarbox is concerned. Your post-em note: "Phyllis Mae Tarbox married Lawrence P. Libby son of Clarence J. & Carrie (Stover) Libby." A puzzle! Did you not mean that Phyllis Mae Tarbox married Lawrence P. Libby son of LEON HANSON LIBBY and Carrie B. Stover? I ask because my data shows that CARRIE WAS B: 22 OCT 1892 AND CLARENCE WAS B: 3 FEB 1864...28 YEARS DIFFERENCE IN AGE. Do get back with me on this. Any additional dates and places, especially my missing some death dates, would be helpful on your Libby ancestors...as well as information on your Sanborn line. Then I will see that they are in my NEXT update. One last question: Where was/is Wolfboro, ME where I have the birth place of your grandfather, Lawrence P. Libby?
