Alexander Gupton, Jr. (1842-1896) m. Florence Drucilla McNeal in Bowling Green KY and the family moved to Nashville. Of their 7 children only two sons survived: Lawrence A. Gupton (1862-ca 1950) m. Maggie W. Martin (7 children) and Lawrence m. 2nd to Lydia K. Pippin, no issue.
The second surviving son was William (1870-1957)(I think he was the one who was Mayor of Nashville during the 20's) He m. Daisie Mason(4 children). I would like to contact any descendants of these two brothers. This is also the family who founded the Gupton School of Embalming. please e-mail me.
Thanks in advance.
