Perhaps anyone researching the Guss Family and the above subject would be interested in the following:

This is from a certified copy of the Death Registration, Province of Alberta, Canada.

Place of death - Lacombe Municipal Hospital.

Length of stay in the Municipality, Province and Canada - since 1900.

Name of the deceased - John Milton Guss (?) (Middle name incorrectly provided by informant)

Regular residence of deceased - Village of Alix, Alberta, in the Municipality M.D.#64 Lacombe, Alberta.

Sex - male, Citizenship - Canadian, Racial Origin- German, Married, Birthplace - Farlington, Kansas. (?) (other data shows that he was born in Cato, Crawford County, Kansas)

Date of birth - May 21st, 1870
Age at death - 81 yrs,2 months and 6 days.

Trade - Farmer (Agriculture) - Life
Date deceased last worked - 1943.

Wife - Delia Maria Grosebeck (?)

Mother - Mary Jane Hadley (Mary Elizabeth)
Father - Samuel Guss
Their birth place - U.S.A.

I certify the foregoing to be true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief given under my hand at Lacombe, Alberta, this 27th day of July,1951.
