I have recently aquired a wedding photo with the words "Sophia and Nick Guss wedding about 1910" below it is written "family photo Nick and Sophie Guss wedding" Several names penciled above people include Ma, Pa, Eliz, Theresa, Joe, Cel and under one family the word appears to be Broshkas. There is a bride and groom surrounded by eighteen other people and appears to be two families. Any descendants of Nick and Sophie/Sophia Guss interested in seeing this photograph please e-mail me at and I will arrange to send you a copy. Hope someone in this family can share this beautiful photograph. My Great-Grandfather Celestin R. Gruber is the Cel referred to in the picture. We believe that the family to the brides' right may be Celestin And Anna Gruber and thier children. Does this make the Bride Sophia Gruber Guss? We have no one to confirm or deny this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
